Ty Mawr which translates to Big House sleeps up to 5 guests across three bedrooms. Ty Mawr has two double bedrooms, one of which has a private en-suite and a single bedroom, as well as a separate shower room.

The cottage has a well equipped kitchen/living area with a separate dining room. There are SMART TV’s in all bedrooms and the living area with a wide variety of channels on offer for guests to enjoy as well as access to WiFI.

Ty Mawr also offers a patio area and garden, equipped with a dining table and chairs, BBQ and firepit for your enjoyment. Babies can also be accommodated and we can provide a travel cot on request.

Bedrooms

Sleeping up to 5 guests, Ty Mawr has three bedrooms.  Two larger rooms with double bedrooms and ample room for a cot and one smaller single bedroom.  All offering a cosy and relaxing feel.

Living Space

With a large kitchen/living area there is ample space for all guests to relax, with a well equipped kitchen in the heart of the property.   There is a separate dining area with seating for up to all 5 guests.

Outdoors

Ty Mawr has a spacious garden area, consisting of a lawn, patio area with table and chairs and a BBQ as well as the ‘Shack’ which is a covered area with a selection of seating to shelter from the elements.

Ty'r Ysgol, Beulah, Llanwrtyd Wells, Powys, LD5 4UD

Situated on the foothills of the Bryn Arw and Sugar Loaf mountain, the barn is in walking distance to both public footpaths. It is perfectly located for exploring the picturesque Brecon Beacons National Park or relaxing in the beautiful countryside with scenic views of the Sugar Loaf mountain.

Close by to Abergavenny town centre, only a 10 minute drive away and the lovely Crickhowell is 20 minutes in the opposite direction.

 

Check in / out

Check-in: from 4.00pm / Check-out: 10.00 am

Early Check-in from 2.30pm and Late Check-out from 11.00am charged at £50, and can be applied during booking.

Children & Pets

Our cottage is perfect for families and can provide 2x high chairs and 2x travel cots x 2 (please let us know upon booking if you require these). There is no bath available, so please feel free to bring your own.

Unfortunately we currently cannot accept pets.

Our cottage is equipped with a Smart TV & BBQ.

We ask that guests avoid loud parties or gatherings, and cover the cost of any accidental damage.
