Booking Terms & Conditions

  • A ‘booking’ is when your request to book has been lodged and accepted by us, the owners of The Old School and you’ve received a booking confirmation via email

  • A ‘deposit’ is a deposit paid to secure your booking with the remaining balance paid prior to your stay

  • ‘Party List’ is the list of people including you and is limited to a maximum of 5 adults/children and 1 baby in Ty Mawr and 4 adults/children and 1 baby in Ty Bach.  The properties cannot comfortably withstand any more capacity.

  • The ‘party list’ must detail any children/babies included in the booking

  • You agree to arrive on or after the check in time of 4.00pm and to leave on or before the check out time of 10.00am

  • Payment can be made via debit card, credit card or bank transfer

  • Cancellations made less than 8 weeks to your booking will retain your deposit should we be unable to secure a rebooking

  • Cancellations made within 7 days of your booking will retain all funds taken should we be unable to secure a rebooking

  • The use of The Old School is for domestic and private bookings.  Use of The Old School for commercial reasons must be notified to the owners prior to booking and is subject to their approval

  • Strictly no smoking permitted inside the property.  A stub bin is provided on the property deck

  • We ask for guests to take care when using the patio and garden areas, particularly in wet weather.  We ask guests to supervise children at all times and be particularly mindful of the busy adjacent road.  The owners take no responsibility for death or injury.  Please be careful

  • A fully stocked first aid kit is provided and found in the kitchen.  A fire risk assessment is included in the Welcome Pack, we ask all guests to become familiar with this

  • We, the owners have Public Liability up to £5million

  • We, the owners have limited liability for a breach of the terms implied by the Consumer Rights Act of 2015

  • We operate under the business name The Old School Holiday Homes

  • We use Bookalet as our third-party booking system.  Please read here regarding their privacy policy.

  • For the safety and security of our guests and property, please be aware that exterior CCTV cameras are in operation around the holiday lets. These cameras are positioned to monitor external areas only and do not cover any private interior spaces.

  • Unfortunately, pets are not permitted at the property.

  • We ask that guests avoid loud parties or gatherings, and cover the cost of any accidental damage.
